Paccbet's Playful Summer

Paccbet's Playful Summer

As you may have noticed by now, Paccbet has joined the htown catalogue for this season. The Russian skate/streetwear brand is a solid poster-boy for how the fashion industry turns to skateboarding in motives for influence, but also inclusion that situates alongside names like Palace and Supreme.

As skate-attire bleeds more into the fashion industry year by year, it gives brands like Paccbet a means of representing their identity through the vessel of fashion and not only through skateboarding itself. After all, it allows us as consumers to distinguish between them with our own subjective tastes- especially with both fashion and skateboarding being their own art forms.

The term Paccbet - pronounced ‘Rassvet’ - is a translation meaning ‘new dawn’ where, living in post-soviet era Russia, the brand decides to create a new path of positivity, hope and innocence to the skateboarding youth of Russia and afar. This is mirrored in the collection with playful colours, comical graphics and relaxed silhouettes- bridging their ethos and key skate/streetwear elements together.
