Y2K Never Really Goes, Does It?

Y2K Never Really Goes, Does It?

Juicy Couture is one of the epitomes of Y2K.

Popularised by stars such as Jenifer Lopez, Brittany Spears & Paris Hilton, the brand is most known for their rhinestone embezzlement found on the backside of their velour tracksuit pants.

Off the back of Aries' collaborative zine with Mia Khalifa, the new capsule entitled

"Rhinestoned Cowboys" is inspired by the classic sex, drugs, and rock’n'roll lifestyle of Los Angeles.

Additionally, the capsule pays homage to Nudie Cohn who is an American Tailor lauded for his decorative rhinestone-covered suits.

Comprising of Juicy go-tos such as velour track suits with "JUICY" emblazoned, as well as iterations of the Aries temple tee, with a substituted print "I AM JUICY", the collaboration is an easy merge of the two brand's styles.

The rollercoaster of Y2K being in and out of style is more so something people like to say to validate the aesthetic but Aries & Juicy are here to ensure the flag is being waved for a long time.
